Let's make it work tonight;

There's got to be something special about sitting at a McDonald's on a nice balmy morning with a book in hand and the remains of a hotcakes breakfast nicely digesting in your stomach. The traffic rolls on and you return to your book comfortable in the knowledge that you're a free man today and there isn't much to bother you anyway.

I haven't done this in a while and I sure do miss this feeling.

Your title sounds so suspiciously wrong - it could almost be a tag line for Viagra

There's something special about having finished your work for the day, showering and changing into something comfortable, and knowing that you can now do whatever you want.

It's a feeling I haven't had for a long, long while until these few weeks.

My legs ache now. And I've been getting that feeling for quite a while. It's partially that feeling which makes me too lazy to go and run.

I like the achy feeling, it speaks of a good workout done and that it's time to rest.
If you haven't been exercising, though, where did the ache come from?

2km on Monday warmed the legs up, then I spent Tuesday night playing rather intensive badminton, so my right forearm's aching. And then a bit of badminton yesterday.

Then today, what was supposed to be a relaxed run to KAP and back from school. I tested out my new Garmin watch, it's pretty nice, though I need to figure out the new nifty features and read the manual. I clocked 6.1km, but the timings were off, since I took about 5 minutes rest at KAP before turning back.

Don't know if that's a veiled comment on NS or whatever, but I do enjoy quiet mornings like the above too. :) Anywhere is good.

Hmm, it's not really about NS, though I guess I rarely get to enjoy those thanks to NS. I suppose it's the combination of good book and relaxed feel that makes it feel awesome.
